9 Shrine Fatigue

Breath of the Wild.

Wow.

This is probably going to be the best game to come out this year. Finding anything to complain about was unbelievably hard. Even this comic is essentially nit picking. I like to call this comic “Shrine Fatigue.” I’m not saying that the shrine puzzles in the new Legend of Zelda are bad, or tedious, in any way. Every new shrine is some new puzzle to wrap your head around. The problem is that there are so many of them. I’m not kidding, by the way, we’re talking over 100 different puzzles spread out across Hyrule. I don’t know if maybe I don’t have the dedication necessary to complete them all, but they tend to sound like a broken record after a while. Picking up a ball and putting it in the hole can only be done so many ways before it becomes painfully boring. Maybe you’re not like me and you enjoy puzzles for the sake of puzzles, but I’ve always been more story focused. At least, that’s the excuse I use so I don’t feel bad for not doing everything possible in this game. So, long story short, this game is unimaginably good, and practically overflows with content. My only¬†complaint is that there’s so much to do and I have no clue where to get started.

Oh, and I don’t know if anyone’s noticed yet, but there is a donate button. I’m not gonna tell you to click it, because that would be greedy and honestly down right rude.¬†But, if you think my jokes are funny or Serpie’s art is neato or maybe even that we should eat from time to time, then feel free to drop a few of your hard earned dollars into our garbage bin. We super appreciate donations. <3
